West Union will be
125 years old on July 20th - we are having the party on July 22nd
How old will YOU be?
We are looking for any and all
reasons to celebrate on our Town’s birthday. Our new category to award
prizes to, will be AGE.
Oldest residents of Doddridge
County and West Union.
Longest town or county continuous
residents.
Longest married couple.
Oldest standing building.
Oldest Car registered in the
county.
And while were at it, how about a
prize for those who have a birthday on July 20th, 21st, or 22nd. Who will
be 1 year old on July 22, we wonder?
And a SPECIAL bundle of prizes
for any brand new residents of West Union or Doddridge County who just happen to
be born during the days of the festival.
If you think you or someone you
know might fit into one of these categories, stop by city hall and register with
Etta Stadler or Fran Stewart, or call 873-1400 or 873-3379.
Those planning on being born
on July 20th, 21st, or 22nd should wait until actual arrival to avoid the crowd.
Contest open to West Union or
Doddridge County residents only.
